The Long Wood Serving Board brings the grain and tonal character of the Petén jungle to a simple elongated form. Handcrafted in Guatemala from responsibly harvested tropical hardwood, each board is carefully cured, sanded, and finished to highlight the natural markings of the timber.
Available in rich Mahogany or pale Blonde Cedar, the board provides ample room for cheeses, breads, fruit, and small bites. Its slim rectangular profile also allows it to function as a cutting board or rest upright against a backsplash between uses.
Guatemalan Hardwood: Made from tropical wood responsibly harvested in Guatemala’s Petén region.
Handcrafted Finish: Each board is cured, shaped, sanded, and finished by local woodworkers.
Individual Grain: Changes in color, grain pattern, knots, and tonal movement make every board distinct.
Two Wood Options: Mahogany offers deeper reddish brown coloring, while Blonde Cedar has a pale, lightly figured surface.
Cheese and Charcuterie: The elongated proportions provide room for arranging cheeses, cured meats, fruit, nuts, and accompaniments.
Bread Service: Use for sliced loaves, rolls, pastries, or a progression of small bites.
Food Preparation: The solid wood surface can also function as a cutting board for everyday kitchen work.
Vertical Storage: A small leather loop allows the board to hang or serve as a simple decorative kitchen accent when not in use.
