Ruffled Bowl Graphite

A fluid ruffled edge, deep graphite enamel, and luminous gold turn this serving bowl into sculpture for the table.

The Lunares Ruffled Bowl is made in the Oberoi family’s atelier in India, where traditional metalworking is carried through every stage of production. Master craftsmen create the original mold using the centuries old technique of sand casting, followed by skilled artisans who form, finish, and enamel each bowl by hand.

The rich graphite interior flows into an irregular petal shaped rim, revealing the gold plated exterior beneath. Natural variations across the surface reflect the handmade process, giving every bowl its own individual finish.

Sculptural Ruffled Form

Organic Edge: The undulating rim gives the bowl the delicate movement of folded porcelain in a more durable metal form.

Four Sizes: The collection ranges from a small dessert or snack bowl to an expansive serving piece for fruit, salads, and shared dishes.

Graphite and Gold Finish

Hand Applied Enamel: Food safe graphite enamel creates a rich interior with subtle variation from the artisan finishing process.

Real Gold Plate: The aluminum exterior is finished with gold plating, producing the distinctive warmth and gleam of a precious metal.
