The Clasped-Weft Technique

Pattern Through Construction: The chevron is formed using a clasped-weft method in which differently colored strands enter the weave from opposing sides and interlock where they meet.
Tapered Geometry: By changing the meeting point of the black and natural wefts row by row, the weaver gradually builds each elongated point into the cloth.
Visible Intersections: Small variations along the color boundaries reveal where individual strands were joined, preserving the logic and handwork behind the pattern.
