Bring warm bread to the table in something as beautiful as the meal itself. This handcrafted serving set pairs a round woven basket with a naturally insulating terracotta warming stone, engraved with a graceful bird and leafy branches.
Heat the stone, place it inside the basket beneath a protective cloth, and fill it with dinner rolls, biscuits, naan, croissants, or tortillas. The terracotta retains warmth throughout the meal, while the natural seagrass basket transitions easily from everyday breakfasts to relaxed dinners and holiday gatherings.
Natural Heat Retention Without Electricity
The terracotta stone absorbs and gradually releases heat, helping bread remain warm for approximately 40 minutes. It offers a simple way to serve multiple rounds without repeatedly returning to the oven.
Made from Sustainably Grown Seagrass
The fitted round basket is woven by hand from seagrass and jute, giving the set organic texture and a warm, natural color. Once the warming stone is removed, the basket can also be used separately for bread, fruit, or countertop storage.
Designed by KORISSA and Made by Hand

Place the terracotta stone in an oven preheated to 350°F for 5 to 10 minutes, or microwave it on high for 2 to 4 minutes. Carefully remove the hot stone with an oven mitt and place it inside the basket. Cover the stone with a clean tea towel before adding bread, then fold the towel over the top to help retain warmth.
Never place the woven basket in the oven or microwave. Always use heat protective gloves when handling the warmed terracotta stone.
Wipe the terracotta stone with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. It is not dishwasher safe.
Dust or vacuum the basket regularly. If needed, wipe gently with a damp cloth without rubbing stains or spills, which may spread the mark or loosen the natural fibers. Allow the basket to dry completely after contact with water and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight to help prevent fading.
A useful piece of tableware made memorable through natural materials, thoughtful design, and the work of Fair Trade artisans in Bangladesh.
