The Bird & Leaf Bread Warmer Basket keeps rolls, biscuits, and sliced bread warm at the table. Its oval terracotta plate is engraved by hand and sized to rest neatly inside the woven basket. Once heated, the clay gradually releases warmth beneath the bread, while the open seagrass weave adds natural texture to the table.

How to Use

Oven: Place only the terracotta warmer in a preheated 350°F oven for 5–10 minutes.
Microwave: Alternatively, heat the terracotta warmer on high for 2–4 minutes.
Serve: Carefully return the heated plate to the basket, then arrange bread on top. Use oven mitts when handling the warm terracotta.
Important: Never place the basket in the oven or microwave.

Care

Bread Warmer: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Not dishwasher safe.
Basket: Dust or vacuum regularly. Wipe with a damp cloth when necessary, taking care not to rub spills into the fibers.
Drying: Allow the basket to dry completely if it becomes wet.
Storage: Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to reduce fading and color changes.
Whitewash: The whitewash can be removed by hand or with pressurized water if desired.
